Event Host

Monroe Studios is seeking an Event Host for the premiere screening of the new original web series, The Debt. The screening will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 in Richmond, Virginia at 7:30 PM. The Event Host will emcee the screening event and moderate the Q&A session to follow with the series creator and cast.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Emcee the premiere screening event

  • Study the series and prepare discussion talking points

  • Monitor and facilitate the Q&A session

REQUIREMENTS

  • General knowledge about Monroe Studios and The Debt series

  • Proven experience as an event host or a passion for the industry

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Confidence in front of an audience and an 'on air' presence

  • The ability to absorb, extract and present information clearly

  • Excellent interviewing and listening skills

  • The ability to build rapport and to handle interactions with sensitivity, empathy and diplomacy

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
